The 3 Bees Honey Team is composed of Gordon , Adam and Greg
Blackmore. The key members of the team are the Queens and brood.

Gordon was raised on a mixed farm near Moosomin, Saskatchewan. As a father
of 2 young children, Gordon wanted to expose them to a farming lifestyle. Full time
farming was out of the economic question. Beekeeping presented an opportunity to
participate in a farming venture without a great economic risk. Thus the Blackmore Boys'
Bee Business was formed.

Tee has the key role of supporting spouse and mother. Tee enjoys
time when the boys head out to check the bees and leave her to a quiet home.
Adam is helping work with the bees. He particularly enjoys driving
the truck around the bee yard.
Greg is key player when it comes to packaging and
labeling.
The Queen and Brood top
Each hive is made up of 1 queen, many workers (female) and drones (male).
To keep track of hives and genetics, as well as for conversation we name each queen. They
are named alphabetically. This year the queens are named as listed below.

You will have noted that there is no "C". I decided to retire "C"
in respect for Camillia. Camillia produced over 300 LB of honey in 1998. Camillia however
did not survive the winter.
